Community Walk-Through June 9, 2024

Community Reminders:

• All: Please check that all exterior dryer vents are closed tightly when the dryer is off, but the hood flap covering the vent should be open while the dryer is running. A closed hood flap can restrict airflow and cause heat to build up, which can be a fire hazard.
• All: If you have not had your dryer vents cleaned and blown out in recent years, please schedule to do so. Clogged dryer vents are a fire hazard.
• All: Please remember that all dogs must be on leash when walking throughout the community for the safety of other community members and their pets who may be outside at the same time
• All: All community members are responsible for flower beds that surround your home. Please de-weed all flower beds personal to your unit.
• All: Any trees that directly abut a unit where branches are close to roofs should be trimmed back or removed to prevent easy roof access to squirrels. Squirrels are building nests on roofs, and in one instance, invaded a community member’s attic space resulting in $12,000 worth of damage and remediation.
